The Story of Jesus begins when, in the words of John, “the Word became flesh and lived among us.” We call this concept incarnation. God became a man. The incarnation of the deity takes place in the city of Bethlehem where Mary gives birth to a baby boy named Y’shua; transliterated “Jesus.” Although it probably occurred in early spring, we celebrate this event every December 25 and call it Christmas.
