The fourth scene of the second act contains the story of all Jesus continued to do after his resurrection. It is the story of “Christ via the Spirit.” This entire scene is contained in the New Testament book of Acts. It begins with the physical ascension of Jesus Christ. The outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost follows. The Pentecost experience launches the work of the church. The scene covers thirty years of history and centers around two key figures: Peter and Paul.
