Act Three of God: the Movie tells “The Story of the Future.” We open on a scene of an old man working in the mines of a penal colony on the island of Patmos, off the coast of Asia Minor. This is John, the young disciple who always referred to himself as “the disciple whom Jesus loved.” He is old now, and the Roman emperor has made him a prisoner because of what he called his “testimony for Jesus.” During what must have been one of the darkest hours of his life, John has an amazing experience. He hears a voice behind him and turns. The sight literally “floors” him. Jesus Christ stands in front of him. John sees the risen and glorified Jesus.
